  • Watching a poi flow is enchanting and it brings peace to both you and your audience. The poi is absolutely mesmerizing when it flows effortless and passionately around you. But you don't have to be a professional to have fun. One can practice by taking off the veil part first, which is very easy thanks to the "ball-in-pocket" construction.

  • It is wrong to simply tie the silk to the rope in a brutal way, because it hurts the silk. Moreover, it does not allow the silk to fully unfold during spinning, making it look like a rope. Silk will also not fully spread if it is too light weighted or too weak.

  • We use sturdy and medium weight silk veil and connect it to the poi in a “ball-in-pocket” way so that the silk would not get hurt. Expensive stainless steel chains with 3 rotating junctions ensures absolutely smooth spinning and allows the silk to freely express itself.

  • Fabric part is hand painted 5 Mommes real natural silk after special post-treatment to be smooth, soft and skin-friendly. All edges are stitched to avoid fraying.
